Love for Photography, Passion for People. This motto was written by my mentor, my sister, Sasha. I adopted the mantra as I moved forward with my career and my own studio. She built her business on the foundation that a genuine connection was the building block to great photos. The experience of the session affects the outcome. I carry that with me. My goal is to offer an experience that will be memorable. By creating a beautiful experience, I create beautiful pictures. I truly care about the people I photograph, and I truly care about my art. Every image, every session is an expression of myself. I don't just take photographs, I make photographs. The difference between the two is a fraction of a second. I look at people, I watch for their unguarded moments, the essence in between, that ray of light peeking through the clouds. That's when I know to press the shutter. That's when I know I have something special. I get excited every time I bring an image to my computer and turn it into a piece of art. My life's story is told through my photographs. And I'm so thankful for every opportunity to share it with the world.
